Palak paneer

Ingredients to make Palak paneer

  • 1 kg palak
  • 1/2 kg paneer
  • 3 onions
  • 4-5 tomatoes
  • Small piece of adarakh
  • 2-3 pieces of garlic
  • 1 spoon namak or according to taste
  • 1/2 spoon lal mirch powder
  • 1/2 table spoon garam masala
  • 1/2 spoon haldi

How to make Palak paneer

  1. First cut the stalk of palak leaves and wash them properly.
  2. Now boil them in the cooker with enough water over 4-5whistles on the high flame and then keep it on low flame for 10min.
  3. Open the cooker and take out on the plate and allow them cool.
  4. Now grind them in the grinder.
  5. Now chop the onions into small pieces and stir fry them in the kadai in some oil.
  6. Take tomatoes and add them to the grinder with green chillies,adarakh and garlic pieces.
  7. Add this tomato mix to the kadai and stir fry again.
  8. Cook till it becomes dark red.
  9. Add the palak puree to it.
  10. Again cook for 10-15min on low flame.
  11. Take it out in a bowl and cut the paneer pieces into heart shape and arrange them in the bowl.Happy Cooking!!!!

My Tip:

Make 4-5whistles in cooker on ahigh flame and then for 10min on low flame so that palak is properly cooked.
