About GULGULLA Recipe

Punjab special gulgulla.

GULGULLA

Ingredients to make GULGULLA

  • maida 100g
  • wheat flour 100g
  • jaggery or sugar 150g
  • cardamom crushed 5 pieces
  • 1/2 tsp anissed crused
  • 1/2 tsp pepper corns crused
  • 250 ml milk
  • ghee or oil for frying
  • baking soda

How to make GULGULLA

  1. Mix the sugar and jaggery in the milk and boil it till well dissolved.
  2. Mix all the other ingredients except for the ghee with flour and atta
  3. Now pour the milk in this mixture and from a thick soft dough
  4. Heat ghee,make small balls and spread it like chappathi
  5. Cut it like small diamond shapes and fry till it becomes golden brown in the ghee
  6. Serve hot.delicious gulgulla is ready.

My Tip:

We can use brown sugar instead of sugat and jaggery
