About Khadai Paneer Recipe

Kadai paneer is one of the popular paneer recipes. Khadai paneer is a very famous dish of north in every restaurant it's taste so yummy.

Khadai Paneer

Ingredients to make Khadai Paneer

  • coriander seeds - 2 tsp
  • Red dry chilli 4
  • oil as required
  • garlic cloves as per choice, chopped
  • tomatoes - 1/2 kg
  • tomato sauce - 1 tsp
  • Kasuri methi - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • paneer - 1/2 kg
  • salt to taste
  • haldi - 1/2 tsp
  • onion 2, sliced
  • capsicum - 2 sliced
  • sugar - a pinch
  • Fresh cream - 1/2 cup

How to make Khadai Paneer

  1. Roast the seeds and red chilli then blend in the mixer. Heat oil in a kadai, add garlic and saute it now add ground powder and saute it for a few minutes.
  2. Add onion chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Mash it with a potato masher.
  3. Now add sauce, salt, sugar, garam masala, kasuri methi and add a little bit of water and cook on a medium heat.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the paneer till the paneer changes in colour. Place it in lukewarm water.
  5. Add paneer and cream and cook for a minute. Serve with naan or roti.

My Tip:

Do not mash the masala in the mixer.
