About Vegetable pulav Recipe

This is one of my favourite pulav its a one pot meal , this is made of lots of veggies and basmati rice , a quick lunch or dinner , we can serve this pulav with any type of raita , curd aachar papad its very easy and healthy , I love to serve it in different way so used bellpeppers here , it can be served in normal way too

Vegetable pulav

Ingredients to make Vegetable pulav

  • 2Cups of basmati rice
  • 1/2 Cup chopped bell peppers
  • 1/4Th cup carrots chopped
  • 1Onion chopped
  • 1Tomato chopped
  • 1/2 Cup of green peas
  • 1Potato chopped
  • 1/4Th cup cauliflower chopped
  • 1Tsp red chilly powder
  • 1Tsp corriander powder
  • 1/2Tsp of turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • Pinch of asafoiedita
  • 1Tsp of cummin seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp of mustard seeds
  • Finely chopped fresh corriander
  • 1Tsp of garam masala
  • 1Bayleaf
  • 1Stick of cinamon
  • 2Tsp of oil
  • Three bellpeppers cut into half

How to make Vegetable pulav

  1. ADD 2TSP OF OIL TO A NON STICK PAN
  2. ADD PINCH OF ASAFOIDITA AND BAYLEAF AND STICK OF CINAMON
  3. ADD 1/2 TSP OF CUMMIN SEEDS AND 1/2 TSP OF MUSTARD SEEDS
  4. ADD 1SLICED ONION
  5. SAUTE ONION NICELY TILL IT TURNS TRANSCULENT
  6. ADD 1GREEN CHILLY
  7. ADD 1TSP EACH OF RED CHILLY POWDER , CORRIANDER POWDER AND 1/2 TSP OF TURMERIC POWDER
  8. ADD 1 CHOPPED POTATO , CARROT , RED AND YELLOW BELLPEPPERS
  9. ADD 1/2CUP EACH OF CAULIFLOWER AND TOMATOES
  10. SAUTE FOR A WHILE
  11. ADD 2 CUPS OF WASHED RICE TO VEGIES
  12. ADD 1/2 CUP OF GREEN PEAS AND SALT TO TASTE AND GARAMMASALA ONE TSP
  13. ADD 3CUPS OF WATER
  14. COVER THE PAN AND LET THE PULAV COOK ON MEDIUM FLAME FOR 15 MINUTES
  15. REMOVE THE LID AND GIVE A STIR
  16. ADD 1LEMON JUICE AND CHOPPED CORRIANDER TO PULAV
  17. CUT BELLPEPPERS IN HALF AND DESEED FROM INSIDE
  18. FILL THE PULAV IN BELL PEPPERS
  19. GARNISH IT WITH CORRIANDER LEAVES
  20. PLACE LEMON WEDGES AND PULAV IS READY TO SERVE WITH CURD OR RAITA
