A quick , diet friendly high fibre dessert .

Banana Mango Oats Sheera

Ingredients to make Banana Mango Oats Sheera

  • Rolled oats 120 grams
  • Whole milk 120 ml
  • Pitted dates 5 finely chopped
  • Ripe banana long 1 finely chopped
  • Frozen mango pieces medium sized 4 finely chopped
  • ghee 4 tablespoons
  • water 1/4 cup
  • Chopped nuts ( almonds and pistachios) 4 tablespoons

How to make Banana Mango Oats Sheera

  1. Cut and freeze mango slices for an hour .
  2. In a pan , heat a tablespoon ghee .
  3. Gently roast oats for a minute in low heat .
  4. Add milk and stir .
  5. While the oats is cooking , add the dates .
  6. Add water and allow the oats and dates mixture to boil till soft .
  7. Maintain a medium flame . keep stirring in between .
  8. Add ghee gradually when oats seems to be cooked .
  9. Oats Sheera starts looking glossy and non-sticky .
  10. Now add the chopped bananas .
  11. Add chopped de skinned mango pieces .
  12. Mix and cook in low flame .
  13. Add ghee .
  14. Add the roasted nuts .
  15. Oats Sheera is ready .
  16. Serve warm / chilled .

My Tip:

Frozen mango gives a nutty texture while relishing . The Sheera also tastes creamy .
