About Pistachio Tart with Ganache Recipe

Crusty Pistachio Tart filled with layers of Silky Ganache, crunchy hazelnut praline and smooth whipped cream topped with Strawberry.

Pistachio Tart with Ganache

Ingredients to make Pistachio Tart with Ganache

  • For pistachio crust
  • flour - 280g
  • butter - 200g
  • Powder sugar- 100g
  • pista- 100g
  • salt- 1/4tsp
  • egg yolk - 90g
  • Baking powder- 1 tsp
  • Vanilla extract- 1/2 tsp
  • For Ganache
  • Dark chocolate- 100g
  • Heavy cream-50g
  • For hazelnut praline
  • Roasted hazelnut-10
  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • For Topping
  • Whipped cream - 1/2 c
  • Chopped strawberries- 1/2c
  • salted Caramel -2 tbsp

How to make Pistachio Tart with Ganache

  1. For Making Tart:
  2. Sift flour and baking powder.
  3. Place butter, powder sugar, salt and chopped pista in a bowl.
  4. Beat using a whisk, add yolks and vanilla.
  5. Add flour mix and mix well.
  6. Form a dough and cling wrap it and refrigerate until use.
  7. After refrigerating for atleast 1 hour blind bake it in small tart pans for 10 to 12 min, until edges starts to brown.
  8. For Ganache:
  9. Heat cream, let it start to boil. Pour it in chopped chocolate.
  10. Mix it till no lumps. If any lumps use microwave and melt it.
  11. Melt it smooth and reserve.
  12. For praline:
  13. Chop roasted hazelnut and place it in a tray.
  14. Place sugar in a heavy bottom pan and heat it.
  15. Give it a stir when it starts to melt.
  16. Let it turn golden yellow color and pour it on the nuts.
  17. After it cools break it and make it crumble.
  18. Arrange ingredients:
  19. After the tart base completely cools down pour the ganache.
  20. Place hazelnut crumble and top it with whipped cream.
  21. Spread it evenly and place chopped strawberries on top and drizzle salted Caramel.
  22. Serve it with more strawberries and salted Caramel.

My Tip:

Blind baking tart is place the raw beans in aluminium foil and place it inside tart.
