Soya kheema samosa

Ingredients to make Soya kheema samosa

  • 1/2 cup soya granules
  • 1 tsp garlic Ginger paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 green chilli
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Handful chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp carom seeds
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • water as needed
  • oil for deep frying

How to make Soya kheema samosa

  1. SOAK 1/2 CUP SOYA GRANULES IN HOT WATER
  2. ADD 1/2 TSP SALT AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 15 MINUTE
  3. DRAIN THE WATER AND SQUEEZE IT
  4. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS AND 1 CHOPPED ONION FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  5. 1 TSP GARLIC GINGER PASTE, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  6. 1 TBSP CORIANDER POWDER, 1 TSP GARAM MASALA POWDER, 1 TBSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  7. 2 FRESH GREEN CHILLI, 1/2 CUP BOILED GREEN PEAS FRY UNTIL OIL LEAVE THE PAN
  8. ADD SOAKED SOYA GRANULES AND MIX WELL
  9. SALT TO TASTE, 1 TSP SUGAR
  10. ADD CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES AND MIX WELL COOK FOR 5 MINUTE AND SWITCH OFF THE FLAME
  11. 1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, 1 CUP WHEAT FLOUR, 1 TBSP CAROM SEEDS ,2 TBSP GHEE,SALT TO TASTE
  12. MIX WELL
  13. ADD WATER AND MAKE A STIFF DOUGH
  14. COVER IT AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 30 MINUTE
  15. DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO EQUAL PORTION, TAKE A PORTION AND ROLL OUT DIAMETER CIRCLE AND CUT INTO TWO
  16. JOIN THE EDGES TO MAKE A CONE ,ADD 1 OR 2 TBSP READY FILLING
  17. APPLY WATER ON THE EDGES TO SEAL SAMOSA AND SEAL THE EDGES TIGHT
  18. FRY THE SAMOSAS ON LOW HEAT UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN ON THE ALL SIDES
  19. DRAIN ON THE ABSORBENT PAPER
  20. ENJOY WITH KETCHUP OR GREEN CHUTNEY
