About Masaledaar potatoes Recipe

This is one of my son,s favourite tiffin recipe.

Masaledaar potatoes

Ingredients to make Masaledaar potatoes

  • Boiled potatoes 5 -6 nos medium size
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Chopped tomatoes 2 small
  • coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • asafoetida( hing) a pinch
  • Green chilli 2 small chopped
  • Dry kasuri methi 1,/4tsp
  • Dry mint leaves 1/4tsp
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

How to make Masaledaar potatoes

  1. Firstly peel the boiled potatoes nd dice them
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add hing, cumin seeds. After 1 min add ginger garlic paste . Saute for 2mins on medium flame
  3. When paste becomes nice nd Brown add chopped tomatoes cook for 2-3mins . Add all ingredients one by one(except kasuri methi nd dry mint leaves)
  4. Keep d flame in low medium, add diced potatoes. Mix well with masala. Add 2-3tbsp water so dat masala is properly coated on potatoes
  5. After 2-3 mins add crushed kasuri methi nd mint leaves . Cover it with lid so dat nice aroma comes out. Turn off gas after 1 min
  6. Serve with paranthas

My Tip:

You can add ingredients acc. to taste.
