This is a delicious pickle that can be made instantly, using onions.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Gingly oil 2 tbsp
  2. Onion [chopped] - 2
  3. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  4. Salt
  5. Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  6. Tamarind water 1 cup
  7. Chilly powder 2 spoon
  8. Methi [fenugreek] powder 1 tea sppon
  9. Mustard powder 1 tea spoon
  10. Hing [asafoetida] - 1/4 th tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a kadai, on a low flame.
  2. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Now add the onion to the oil and saute.
  3. Add the salt and turmeric powder. saute
  4. Add tamarind water,chilly powder,methi powder, mustard seeds powder.
  5. Now stir and add the hing. Cook for few minutes and serve.
