Makhana mattar tikki

Ingredients to make Makhana mattar tikki

  • Makhana 1cup
  • Green peas 1/2cup boiled
  • onion 1 chopped
  • Green chilli 2-3 chopped
  • turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • Kasoori methi 1tbsp
  • Chaat masala 1tsp
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • oil 4tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Makhana mattar tikki

  1. Fry makhana with oil till crisp.
  2. Cool and grind. Keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add onion, chilli and peas.
  4. Add salt, haldi, chaat masala, kasoori methi and saute for few mins.
  5. Cool and grind to a paste.
  6. Take this paste in a mixing bowl and add makhana powder, cardamom powder.
  7. Adjust spices.
  8. Make tikki out of the dough and shallow fry till both sides turn little brown.
  9. Serve hot with any sauce or chutney.

My Tip:

You can adjust the spices according to your choice.
