Ingredients to make Capsicum chana dol gunta pongadalu

  • 1 cup urak dol (soaked at 4 hours)
  • 2 cup steam rice (soaked at 4 hours)
  • 1 tsp methi seeds(soaked at 4 hours)
  • 1 cup chopped onion,
  • 1 cup chana dol soaked 1 hour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili slices
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 cup capsicum chopped
  • 1 tsp jera

How to make Capsicum chana dol gunta pongadalu

  1. Keep mix up urak Dal,rice methi seeds
  2. Put in a wet grinder blend fine paste
  3. The batter should leave upto 4 hour for making pongadas
  4. Then after 4 hours ..take the batter add salt, chopped coriander,onions, chilli slices
  5. Chanda dol, capsicum peices,jera mix up all these
  6. Into the batter mean while
  7. Heat in a pongadalu stand in flame
  8. Apply oil on each hole before making
  9. Slowly pour pongadalu batter on to pongadalu stand add oil drops
  10. On top of it Fri for a while turn back add oil again
  11. Cook on medium flame ...until it gets gold colour
  12. Take into a plate .. ready to serve

My Tip:

Chana dol, capsicum peices while chewing time it gives good taste n flavour..no need Chutney because all veggies i added
