Roasted rice vermicelli upma

Ingredients to make Roasted rice vermicelli upma

  • Roasted rice vermicelli 100 gms
  • carrot chopped 1/2 cup
  • Beans chopped 1/2 cup
  • Baby corn chopped 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • mango chopped 1/2 cup
  • cashews few
  • ghee 1/4 cup
  • Cooking oil 2 tsp
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • urad dal 1 tsp
  • red chilli 1
  • ginger paste 1 tsp
  • curry leaves few
  • Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  • water

How to make Roasted rice vermicelli upma

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds let it splutter.
  2. Add urad dal and red chilli, fry.
  3. Add curry leaves, cashews and fry.
  4. Add chopped veggies and mangoes, saute.
  5. Add water and half cook.
  6. Add salt.
  7. Add vermicelli, cover and cook for 3 -4 minutes in medium flame.
  8. Check the evaporation of water.
  9. Add ghee, mix well.
  10. Check the cookness, add coconut, mix well and serve in hot.

My Tip:

You can use any kind of veggies and for sour lemon.
