Ingredients to make Mattar and paneer kofta in makhni gravy

  • peas 1cup
  • potato 1boiled and mashed
  • cornflour 2tbsp
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • paneer 1/2cup
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • For gravy-
  • tomato 3 chopped
  • ginger 1"chopped
  • garlic 4cloves
  • Green cardamom 4
  • mace 1
  • butter 1/4cup
  • Kasuri methi powder 1tsp
  • honey 1tbsp
  • cream 3tbsp
  • Garam masala powder 1tsp
  • salt as per taste

How to make Mattar and paneer kofta in makhni gravy

  1. BOIL PEAS.
  2. ADD MASHED POTATOES,
  3. CORNFLOUR,
  4. SALT,
  5. RED CHILLI POWDER
  6. MIX WELL.
  7. MAKE A DOUGH.
  8. KEEP ASIDE.
  9. MIX.
  10. MAKE SMALL BALLS.
  11. TAKE SMALL AMOUNT OF PEAS DOUGH, FLATTEN IT AND STUFF THE PANEER BALL.
  12. NOW SHAPE IT AS A BALL
  13. DEEP FRY THE KOFTAS IN OIL ON MEDIUM HEAT TILL IT TURNS CRISPY FROM OUTSIDE.
  14. STRAIN AND KEEP ASIDE.
  15. FOR PREPARING GRAVY, HEAT A KADHAI AND ADD TOMATOES,
  16. GINGER, GARLIC,
  17. GREEN CARDAMOM, MACE,
  18. BUTTER,
  19. RED CHILLI POWDER,
  20. 1CUP WATER.
  21. STRAIN.
  22. HEAT THE KADHAI AND POUR THIS STRAINED GRAVY MIXTURE.
  23. ADD KASURI METHI,
  24. GARAM MASALA POWDER,
  25. SALT,
  26. MIX WELL.
  27. COOK FOR FEW MINS.
  28. ADD HONEY,
  29. CREAM,
  30. MIX AND COOK FOR 2MINS AND SWITCH OFF. ADD THE KOFTAS AND SERVE.
