Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For pakoda's
  2. 2 cups of gram flour(besan)
  3. 2 small size onion finely chopped
  4. 1/2 cup Finely chopped coriander leaves
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. 1/3 turmeric powder
  7. Soda 1 pinch
  8. Oil to deep fry
  9. For kadhi -
  10. 3/4 cup gram flour
  11. 2 cups sour curd
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. 1/2 spoon turmeric powder
  14. 1/2 spoon fenugreek seeds
  15. 1 spoon cumin seeds
  16. 2 tbsp oil
  17. For tadka-
  18. 2 tbsp oil
  19. 1 spoon mustered seeds
  20. 8-10 Curry leaves
  21. 2Dried red chillis
  22. Cooked rice for serving with kadhi


  1. Mix 2 cups of gram flour finely chopped onions, coriander leaves salt, a pinch of soda and half a spoon turmeric powder in a bowl pour some water make a thick better whisk well
  2. Heat oil in a pan for frying the pakodas when it get hot make small size pakodas from the better fry it until pakodas became golden brown, keep aside.
  3. Mix curd, gram flour, turmeric powder and salt in a bow, whiak well, so there are no lumps of besan
  4. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame
  5. When it once hot add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, fry for few seconds, will get nice aroma
  6. Pour the prepared curd gram flour mixture in it
  7. Bring it to boil, and let it simmer on low medium flame, It will start thicken up.
  8. Put the pakodas in the kadhi off the gas
  9. For tadka- heat the oil in a pan
  10. Add mustered seeds, curry leaves and dried red chillies pour over the kadhi.
  11. Enjoy the unique taste of kadhi with rice.
