Ingredients Serving: 15

  1. Peeled and grated Raw mango 1 kg
  2. almonds 100 gm
  3. raisins 100 gm
  4. cashews 100 gm
  5. chana daal 2 tsp
  6. salt and Red chilli powder as per taste
  7. Sugar/Gur 200 gms
  8. Fennel, fenugreek and Kalonji 100 gms
  9. Garam masala 1 tsp
  10. Saunth/Dry ginger powder 1 tsp


  1. Heat a pan and add some mustard oil to heat, then roast the chana daal, now add raw mango and cook on a high flame for 5 minutes.
  2. Add all the dry fruits, sugar or gur and heat till it absorbs all the sugar and becomes a liitle dry.
  3. Now add all the masalas and cook it for 10 minutes till it becomes thick and brown in colour.
