a very healthy chicken recipe with no oil and is steamed with rice

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. chicken mince 100 gms
  2. salt
  3. chopped spring onions 2 tbsp
  4. chopped garlic 1 tsp
  5. chopped ginger 1/2 tsp
  6. chopped red chilli 1/2 tsp
  7. long basmati rice 1 cup
  8. cabbage leaves 3-4
  9. edible colours green and red
  10. crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp


  1. wash and soak rice for atleast 4 hrs
  2. drain water and divide into three parts..
  3. in one part mix red colour and in other mix green colour ...let the third part as it is
  4. mix chopped garlic,chopped ginger,salt,chopped red chilli,chopped spring onions,crushed black pepper and salt to the minced chicken
  5. mix everything well together
  6. make small balls of the minced chicken and roll over the rice
  7. now boil water in a steamer..
  8. place some cabbage leaves on a pan to avoid sticking
  9. place these balls wrapped in rice over the cabbage leaves on the pan
  10. now steam in a steamer for 20 mins
  11. serve with schezwan sauce
