Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Whole wheat flour 2+1/2 cup
  2. Cooking oil for dough 1/4 cup
  3. salt to taste
  4. water 1 1/4 cup
  5. Cooking oil for deep fry
  6. cashews few
  7. raisins few
  8. Grated coconut 1 cup
  9. jaggery syrup 1/4 cup
  10. cardamom powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
  2. ADD SALT, WATER
  3. MIX WELL
  4. IN BETWEEN ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
  5. ADD COOKING OIL AND KNEAD WELL
  6. AFTER WELL KNEAD, COVER AND ALLOW IT FOR 20 MINUTES REST
  7. FORM LEMON SIZED BALLS OUT OF DOUGH
  8. SPRINKLE SOME FLOUR, PRESS THE DOUGH BALL IN WHEAT FLOUR
  9. PRESS IT
  10. HEAT GHEE, FRY CASHEWS
  11. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN, ADD RAISINS
  12. GRATED COCONUT
  13. ADD JAGGERY SYRUP
  14. ADD CARDAMOM POWDER, MIX WELL, FRY TILL THICK
  15. TAKE PRESSED POORI, FILL THE COCONUT MIXTURE
  16. SEAL IT
  17. CHECK THE HOTNESS OF OIL, FRY THEM ONE BY ONE
  18. FLIP AND FRY, REMOVE ON KITCHEN TOWEL AND SERVE
