This cutlet is easy to make and you can enjoy it while on fast .Its light and made up of sabudana,potato,paneer with mild spices,then shallow fried.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 Cup sabudana
  2. 2boiled potatoes
  3. 1/2 cup paneer
  4. 1tsp rock salt/seendha namak
  5. 1tsp black pepper
  6. 1tsp amchur powder(optional)
  7. 1tsp jeera /cumin powder
  8. 2 tsp peanuts powdered
  9. Oil to fry
  10. For chutney
  11. 2 tsp peanuts
  12. 1 apple
  13. 2tbsp mint leaves
  14. 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  15. 1 tsp sendha namak
  16. 1 tsp cumin powder
  17. 1tsp black pepper
  18. 1 tsp sugar
  19. 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. TAKE 2 BOILED, MASHED POTATOES, ADD 1/2 CUP CRUMBLED COTTAGE CHEESE, 1 TSP GRATED GINGER
  2. ADD 2 TSP ROASTED PEANUT POWDER
  3. ADD 1 CUP PRE-SOAKED ( 1-2 HOURS ) FLUFFED UP SAGO PEARLS
  4. ADD 1 TSP PEPPER POWDER & SENDHA NAMAK
  5. ADD 1 TSP AMCHUR POWDER OR 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
  6. ADD 1 TSP ROASTED CUMIN POWDER, MIX
  7. ADD 2 TBSP CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES
  8. SHAPE SMALL TIKKIS OUT OF THE READY MIX WITH OIL-GREASED PALMS
  9. GET ALL THE TIKKIS READY LIKE THIS
  10. SHALLOW FRY THE TIKKIS ON MEDIUM HEAT IN 3-4 TBSP OIL
  11. FLIP & FRY FROM BOTH SIDES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  12. THE TIKKIS ARE DONE, TAKE OFF HEAT, SET ASIDE
  13. FOR THE CHUTNEY : 2 TBSP EACH OF PEANUTS, FRESH CORIANDER & MINT, SENDHA NAMAK, 1 APPLE
  14. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF ROASTED CUMIN & PEPPER POWDERS
  15. ADD 1 TSP SUGAR, 1-2 TBSP WATER, BLEND TILL SMOOTH
  16. THE CHUTNEY IS READY
  17. SERVE THE HOT & CRISPY SABUDANA TIKKIS WITH THE CHUTNEY
