Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Sooji/ Rava- 2 cups
  2. Sugar- 1 1/2 cup
  3. Cardamom- 6
  4. Raisins- 10
  5. Cashews- 10
  6. Hot milk- 1/2 cup (approx)
  7. Ghee- 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. COARSELY POWDER 2 CUPS SUJI
  2. POWDER 2 CUPS SUGAR
  3. HEAT 2 TSP GHEE IN A PAN AND ADD 10 RAISINS, FRY TILL THEY PUFF UP
  4. WHEN DONE REMOVE RAISINS AND KEEP ASIDE, ADD 10 CASHEWS AND FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  5. REMOVE CASHEWS AND KEEP ASIDE. IN THE SAME GHEE, ADD THE SUJI AND FRY ON LOW FLAME TILL A WARM AROMA FILLS UP THE SURROUNDINGS
  6. WHEN THE SUJI IS ROASTED, ADD THE SUGAR POWDER AND MIX IN
  7. MIX QUICKLY TO AVOID LUMPS AND REMOVE FROM HEAT IMMEDIATELY
  8. ADD ABOUT 1/2 CUP HOT MILK LITTLE BY LITTLE AND MIX IN
  9. WHEN THE SUJI MIXTURE FORMS A STICKY MASS, STOP ADDING MILK AND MAKE BALLS .
  10. ADD A RAISIN AND CASHEW TO EACH BALLS AND ROLL INTO A BALL. SIMILARLY, SHAPE ALL THE BALLS.
  11. WHEN ALL THE BALLS ARE DONE, LET THEM REST FOR 30 MINS FOR THE TASTE TO SET IN AND TO MAKE THEM FIRM
  12. ENJOY YUMMY, SOFT, RAVA LADOO
