Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 cups All purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cup Sugar
  3. 1 cup melted unsalted butter
  4. 1 tspn Vanilla essence
  5. 1/2 tspn cardamom powder
  6. 1/2 tspn ginger powder
  7. 1/2 tspn fennel seed powdered
  8. 1/2 tspn salt
  9. 1 tspn cinnamon powder
  10. leaves from 1 English tea bag(any brand)


  1. Combine 1 cup butter melted, 1/2 tspn salt & 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla Essence. Mix & keep aside
  2. Mix 2cups flour, 1/2 tspn fennel, ginger, cardamom & cinnamon powder, leaves of 1 English tea bag
  3. Combine all the dry ingredients well
  4. Add the flour mix to the butter bowl but by bit and fold in well
  5. Make the desired shape of the dough and align them on a baking tray keeping 2 fingers gap between
  6. Bake for 10 minutes or till golden brown at 180 degrees celcius
  7. Enjoy your English styled Nankhatai with an Indian chai! store in airtight box
