Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. Lemon juice as you need
  3. 1 tbsp cooking oil
  4. 3/4 mustard seed
  5. 1 tap urad dal
  6. 1 1/2 chala dal
  7. 2/4 peanut
  8. 1/4 turmeric powder
  9. 1/2 dry red chilli
  10. 1/2 green chili
  11. 1 large sprig of curry leaves
  12. 1/2 ginger

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 CUP RICE.
  2. WASH RICE FEW TIME OR UNTIL THE WATER
  3. NOW ADD 1 CUP WATER
  4. I USUALLY COOK IT ON A MEDIUM FLAME IN A 3 LITTLE PRESSURE COOKER FOR 1 WHISTLE
  5. RICE IS READY
  6. HEAT A PAN WITH OIL ON A MEDIUM TO FLAME. WHEN THEY HOT, ADD PEANUT.
  7. WHEN THEY ARE HALF ROASTED ADD CHANA DAL AND URAD DAL
  8. WHEN THE DAL TRUN GOLDEN, ADD MUSTARD.ALLOW TO CRACKLE. ADD CHILL AND CURRY LEAVES. WHEN THE LEAVE
  9. TURN CRISP. ADD GINGER. OFF THE STOVE ADD TURMERIC. ADD SALT TO TASTE
  10. NOW ADD THE RICE
  11. NOW ADD LEMON JUICE. POUR THIS TO THE COOLED RICE MIX EVERYTHING WELL.
  12. THE LEMON RICE IS READY
  13. SERVED HOT OR COLD WITH CURD
