Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. Lemon juice as you need
  3. 1 tbsp cooking oil
  4. 3/4 mustard seed
  5. 1 tap urad dal
  6. 1 1/2 chala dal
  7. 2/4 peanut
  8. 1/4 turmeric powder
  9. 1/2 dry red chilli
  10. 1/2 green chili
  11. 1 large sprig of curry leaves
  12. 1/2 ginger

Instructions

  1. WASH & RINSE 1 CUP RICE
  2. ADD 1 CUP WATER
  3. PRESSURE COOK UPTO 1-2 WHISTLES
  4. RICE IS READY
  5. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP PEANUTS
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP URAD DAL, 1 TSP CHANA DAL
  7. ADD 3/4 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS, FEW CURRY LEAVES, 2-3 SLIT GREEN CHILLIES, 1-2 DRY RED CHILLIES
  8. ADD 1/2 TSP GINGER, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC, SALT, TAKE OFF HEAT
  9. ADD THE COOLED RICE
  10. ADD 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE, MIX WELL
  11. THE LEMON RICE IS READY
  12. SERVED HOT
