Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Snake gourd chopped 1/4 kg
  2. Cooking oil 2 tsp
  3. Urad dal 1 tsp
  4. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  5. Red chilli 1
  6. Curry leaves few
  7. turmeric powder 1/8 tsp
  8. garlic cloves 8-10
  9. onion chopped 1 cup
  10. Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  11. water 1/2 cup
  12. salt to taste
  13. jaggery syrup 1 tsp
  14. White sesame 2 tsp
  15. Grated coconut 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL, ADD URAD DAL, MUSTARD SEEDS AND LET IT SPLUTTER
  2. ADD RED CHILLI AND CURRY LEAVES
  3. ADD GARLIC AND FRY
  4. ADD TURMERIC POWDER AND ONION, FRY TILL TENDER
  5. ADD SNAKE GOURD, MIX WELL
  6. ADD WATER AND SALT
  7. CHILLI POWDER
  8. MIX WELL AND COOK UNTIL COMPLETE ABSORB OF WATER
  9. IN THE MEANTIME ADD JAGGERY SYRUP, SAUTE AND AGAIN CONTINUE COOKING
  10. IT IS READY, ADD COCONUT, MIX WELL
  11. ON THE TOP SPRINKLE WHITE SESAME, THEN SERVE
