Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Suji 3tbsp
  2. curd 2tbsp
  3. Chopped vegetables 2tbsp ( onion, capsicum, carrot)
  4. Baking soda and baking powder 1/2tsp each
  5. Rai 1tsp
  6. White sesame 1tsp
  7. Chana dal and urad dal 1tsp each
  8. Salt, red chilli powder


  1. Mix curd and Suji .
  2. Now add abt 1cup of water.salt and red chilli powder.
  3. Make tadka of rai,sesame seeds and curry leaves add both dal to it .heat until turn golden.
  4. Pour tadka in idly mixture. Mix well. Add chopped vegetables and more water if needed .
  5. Now add baking powder and baking soda to it Mix it gently.
  6. Now heat 1tbsp oil in a heavy bottom karahi. Add 1tsp rai to it Wen rai spulter add a laddle full of better to it, And cover for 3 to 4 minutes at low flame .
  7. After 4 minutes flip the idly and crisp another side . Serve with green chutney.
