ABOUT Instant Indian Style Veg-Macaroni pasta RECIPE

This style is macaroni is easy to prepare and I have given it an Indian twist by preparing it in mixed Indian and Italian spices. These are easy and mouthwatering and can be prepared in less than 20 minutes. So you an have it whenever you crave for pasta and they can be great option for kids lunch boxes. You an add as many and less vegetables you prefer and add any vegetable as desired.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 1/2 cups Macaroni
  2. Boiling water 3 cups
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. 2-3 drops of oil to add in water
  5. 1-2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  6. 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  7. 5-6 spring onions
  8. 2 red onions
  9. 1/8 cup sweet corn
  10. 1/8 cup green peas
  11. 10 French beans
  12. 1 capsicum
  13. 1 carrot
  14. 1/2 zucchini
  15. 1 teaspoon salt
  16. 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  17. 1 teaspoon all purpose Italian seasoning
  18. 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  19. 2 tablespoon pasta sauce
  20. 3 tablespoon tomato sauce
  21. 2

Instructions

  1. ADD MACARONI TO BOILING WATER WITH SALT AND FEW DROPS OF OIL
  2. KEEP ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND VEGETABLES READY
  3. HEAT OIL IN A PAN
  4. ADD CRUSHED GINGER AND GARLIC AND SAUTÈ
  5. ADD ONIONS AND SAUTÈ
  6. MEAN WHILE KEEP CHECKING THE MACARONI BY STIRRING OCCASIONALLY
  7. NOW ADD FRENCH BEANS OR ANY VEGETABLE THAT TAKES MORE TIME TO COOK AND SAUTÈ
  8. LET BEANS ROAST A LITTLE THEN ADD CARROT CUBES AND FRY
  9. ADDING SWEET CORN (I HAD BLANCHED IT IN WARM WATER FOR 5 MINUTES)
  10. THEN ADD PEAS AND SAUTÈ
  11. STIR, COVER AND LET THESE HARD VEGETABLE SOFTEN A LITTLE. DO NOT OVER COOK.
  12. ADD ANY SOFT VEGETABLES NOW. I AM USING SOME ZUCCHINI
  13. WHILE VEGETABLES WERE COOKING MY PASTA IS READY. IT'S SOFT WHEN PINCHED.
  14. STRAIN THE HOT WATER AND POUR COLD WATER. STRAIN AND KEEP PASTA ASIDE
  15. ADD CAPSICUM AND MIX. CAPSICUM SHOULD NOT BE COOKED MUCH.
  16. NOW ADDING PASTA SAUCE AND TOMATO SAUCE TO THE VEGETABLES
  17. ADD SEASONING OF YOUR CHOICE. I LIKE TO ADD CHAAT-MASALA, BLACK-PEPPER POWDER AND ALL PURPOSE ITALIAN SEASONING.
  18. ADD THE STRAINED AND COOLED MACARONI AND MIX.
  19. SPRINKLE GRATED CHEESE IF YOU LIKE AND SERVE HOT
