Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ridge gourd chopped 2 cup
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Water
  4. Grated coconut 1 cup
  5. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Jeera 1 tsp
  7. Green chilli 2
  8. Jaggery lemon sized
  9. Curry leaves few

Instructions

  1. WASH AND SLIGHTLY PEEL RIDGE GOURD, CHOP INTO SMALL PIECES
  2. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
  3. SALT TO TASTE, COVER AND COOK TILL SOFTEN
  4. GRATED COCONUT, TURMERIC POWDER
  5. ADD JEERA, WATER AND GRIND SMOOTHLY
  6. CHECK THE COOKNESS, ADD SLIT OF GREEN CHILLI
  7. ADD GROUND PASTE
  8. BRING IT TO BOIL, ADD JAGGERY, LET IT DISSOLVES
  9. WHILE BOILING ADD CURRY LEAVES, TURN OFF FLAME AND CLOSE THE LID
