Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 13/4 cups flour
  2. 1 tsp yeast
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1/4 cup +2 tbsp warm milk
  5. 3/4 tbsp sugar
  6. 1/2 tsp salt
  7. 2.5 tbsp soft butter
  8. 2 tbsp warm water
  9. For filling
  10. 3-4 tbsp soft butter + additional for greasing
  11. For topping
  12. 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1- 3/4 CUPS FLOUR, 3 TBSP SUGAR, 1 TSP YEAST, 1/2 TSP SALT, MIX WELL
  2. ADD 1 EGG, 2.5 TBSP SOFTENED BUTTER, 1/4 CUP MILK, 2 TBSP WARM WATER
  3. KNEAD A SOFT DOUGH
  4. COVER & KEEP ASIDE TO REST IN A WARM PLACE FOR 1-2 HOURS
  5. DEFLATE THE DOUGH GENTLY, KNEAD FOR 2-3 MINS
  6. DIVIDE INTO 2 EQUAL PARTS
  7. ROLL OUT THE BALLS ON A FLOUR DUSTED SURFACE
  8. ADD 2-3 TBSP SOFTENED BUTTER, SPREAD IT OUT
  9. CUT OUT 8 OR 16 TRIANGLES
  10. FOLD THE TRAIANGLES LIKE THIS, CURVE FROM THE EDGES
  11. PLACE THE CRECENTS ON A GREASED BAKING TRAY, ALLOW TO REST FOR 20 MINS
  12. BRUSH MELTED BUTTER ON TOP
  13. BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREES FOR 18-20 MINS UNTIL PUFFED UP & GOLDEN BROWN
  14. BRUSH MELTED BUTTER ON TOP WHILE STILL WARM
