Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Fish - 200gm
  2. 1cup onion paste
  3. 2tbsp onion sliced
  4. 1tbsp ginger & garlic paste
  5. 1/2 cup tomato puree
  6. 1TBSP CUMIN POWDER
  7. 1tbsp chili powder
  8. 1tbsp Coriendar Powder
  9. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  10. 1tsp whole jeera
  11. Whole Garam Masala (Green Cardamom 2nos, 1 small cinnamon, 4nos cloves)
  12. 1no bay leaves

Instructions

  1. To make koftas , clean the fish thoroughly & then boil the fish in Water for 5/6 mins. Let it cool .
  2. Once it is cooled , separate the fish from bones & squeeze to drain water .
  3. Then keep it in a bowl .combine chopped onion, 2tbsp maida, chopped coriendar, salt t o taste, ginger ,garlic paste& mix well.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal size ball & then roll them over maida to make koftas.
  5. Heat 5/6 tbsp oil in a pan & fry these koftas in batches till the surface turns golden brown. Take out the koftas on a plate & keep aside.
  6. For curry take a kadai add oil for temparing add cumin seeds, whole garam masala & bay leaves saute for 1min.
  7. Then add onion sliced saute for 2/3 mins, then add ginger & Garlic paste saute for 1min.Then add tomato sliced saute for 2mins. Then add all masala ,salt & little water saute well.
  8. Then rake a mixing jar poure the onion mixer & paste .
  9. In a renaming oil add the grounded paste. Saute on low flame till the oil separates.
  10. Now add 1cup hot water, salt & sugar to taste & mix well . Let the curry bring to a boil. Then put the flame low & let the gravy summer for 2/3 mins.
  11. Switch off the flame add the koftas & garnish with chopped coriander leaves .
  12. Serve hot with Roti & Rice
