Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Cooked pigeon pea or split red gram daal 1cup
  2. 3 to 4 brinjals
  3. 1 potato
  4. 1onion
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Goda masala 1 tea spoon
  7. Red chilli powder as per taste
  8. Fresh coconut n coriender
  9. Jaggery
  10. Tamarind
  11. For tempering oil,,mutered seeds,,cumin seeds,,asfoetida,,turmeric

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook your daal either toor daal or masoor daal ie pigeon pea or split red gram
  2. Cut medium sized pieces of all veges
  3. Take a vok add oli,,temper it withmustered seeds,,cumin seeds,,asfoetida,,turmeric,,red chilli powder ,,
  4. Add all vegetable ,,stirr for a while
  5. Addwater n cook veges
  6. Add cooked daal
  7. Then add all tamarind,,jaggery,,salt,,goda masala n freshly grated coconut ,,stir well
  8. Switch off the gas ,,add again little coconut ,,,coriender leaves
  9. Serve it with steamed rice or hotchaoati with dollap of clarified butter on top
