Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled potatoes 6
  2. Garlic paste one tsp
  3. Green chilli paste one tsp
  4. Lemon juice one tsp
  5. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Rai [mustard seeds] 1/2 tsp
  7. Jeera [cumin seeds] 1/2 tsp
  8. Curry leaves 6
  9. Hing pinch
  10. Coriander one bunch
  11. For batter....
  12. Gram flour one cup
  13. Rice flour one tsp
  14. Turmeric pinch
  15. Salt one tsp
  16. Oil for deep frying
  17. Roasted peanuts one tsp
  18. Water 400 ml

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan...Add rai jeera and wait till it crackles. Add garlic chilli paste and saute for few min..Now add hing,turmeric,curry leaves,lemon juice and mashed potatoes,salt n mix well. ..Cook for two min and off the gas ..
  2. Form round balls n keep ready
  3. Now make a semi thick batter by adding gram flour,rice flour,salt,turmeric , water...
  4. Make chutney by grinding coriander,peanuts,lemon juice,salt,garlic, green chilli n little water...
  5. Heat oil for frying...Dip the potato balls in gram flour batter and fry in oil at medium flame...Once brown... Remove it and serve with chutney,onion...
