Soak urad daal & rava in different vessels for 8 hrs Now grind daal , mix with idli rava ..Allow it to ferment for 8 hrs.. Mix well ..Add salt n make soft idlis by steaming idlis in idli stand.
Heat a pan...Add two tsp oil,rai,jeera ,wait till they crackle...Now add tomatoes & cook till soft
Add curry leaves,red chilli, turmeric,red chilli powder,black pepper powder,minced garlic..
Finally add tamarind pulp,cooked daal , three cups water,salt & boil for 15- 20 min....
Serve this hot with idlis topped with boondi...
