Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida /plain flour - 130 g/ 1 cup
  2. Besan/Gram flour- 60g/half cup
  3. Suji/Semolina - 30g/2&1/2 tbspn
  4. Powdered sugar-80g/half cup
  5. Salt - 1 pinch
  6. Cardamom powder- 1 pinch
  7. Ghee- 115 g/ half cup
  8. Chopped almonds & pistachios for garnish


  1. In a bowl , add in the maida,besan, suji, powdered sugar,salt and cardamom powder and mix well
  2. Pour in the ghee and mix well with fingers to form a dough.
  3. Divide into 18 portions ...Refrigerate them for a 10 to 15 minutes
  4. Shape them into round peda like shape and place in a baking tray....Top it with nuts
  5. Preheat the oven at 160 C for 10 minutes
  6. Bake it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes at 150 degree C in convection mode or 18 minutes at 160 degree C in OTG with both rods on or in low flame in idli cooker for 17 to 18 minutes...
  7. Store in an airtight container
