ABOUT orange kheer RECIPE

It is easy to make and is perfect to serve during special occasions or festivals.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup chopped orange segments
  2. 4 1/4 cups full-fat milk
  3. 1/2 cup sugar
  4. 1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
  5. 2 tablespoons Mixed nuts, chopped
  6. 1/2 cup Orange pulp

Instructions

  1. boil the milk in a deep pan on a high flame, which will take approx. 6 to 7 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar, mix well and cook on a slow flame for 10 minutes, while stirring continuously.When the milk starts to thicken add the dry fruits to the kheer.
  3. Add the cardamom powder and mix very well. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, add the orange and mix well.Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  5. Just before serving add the chilled orange pulp. Enjoy as a dessert after a meal.
