About Curd daliya Recipe

This is healthier then curd rice and a very easy to make as well.

Curd daliya

Ingredients to make Curd daliya

  • Boiled daliya 1/2 cup
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • salt 1/2tsp
  • sugar 1tsp
  • Chopped coriander
  • For tadka..
  • oil 2tsp
  • mustard seed 1tsp
  • Green chili chopped 1
  • Whole red chilli 2
  • curry leaves 12
  • Soaked chana dal 2tsp
  • Soaked urad dal 2tsp
  • Rosted chopped peanuts one hand full

How to make Curd daliya

  1. Wash and boil the daliya in a pressure cooker with required amount of water. Generally double the amount of water to daliya is used and takes one whistle in a pressure cooker to cook. Now once cooked, cool it.
  2. Now mix the curd with sugar, salt and daliya in a bowl. Refrigerate for few minutes.
  3. Now heat some oil in a pan, then add the mustard seeds. Then add rest of the ingredients mentioned under tadka, and saute for 1 minute. Switch off the gas.
  4. Now add the tadaka to the curd daliya, garmish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
