ABOUT Paneer Tikka Wraps RECIPE

Delicious Paneer Tikka wrapped in Lettuce and wheat tortillas makes this as excellent snack to much on for both kids as well as adults

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 150 g Cubed Paneer
  2. 1/2 onion cubed
  3. 1/2 capsicum cubed
  4. 1/2 bell pepper cubed
  5. 2 tbsp oil
  6. For Marination
  7. 3/4 cup thick yogurt
  8. 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  9. 2 tbsp besan
  10. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  11. 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  12. 1/4 tsp turmeric
  13. 1 tsp oil
  14. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  15. 1/4 tsp Ajwain
  16. to taste salt
  17. 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  18. 1/4 tsp Amchur powder
  19. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  20. For Assembling
  21. 4 warm wheat flour tortillas/rotis
  22. 4 lettuce leaves
  23. 4 tsp shredded cabbage
  24. 4-5 tbsp green chutney/mint mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk all ingredients mentioned under marination section.Add panner, capsicum, onions and bell pepper.Marinate for 1 hour
  2. There are 2 ways to prepare on stove top. First - Grease a grill pan. Insert paneer, veggies on skewers and grill them until done on all sides
  3. Second - Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add marinated paneer mixture. Simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Now roast paneer until golden brown and sauce has completely thickened
  4. Place a tortilla/roti on a plate. The tortilla should be warm else warm it before assembling it
  5. Spread green chutney or mint mayo all over evenly
  6. Place 1 lettuce leaf, 1tsp shredded cabbage, panner mixture at centre
  7. Tightly fold the mixture. cover with foil or butter paper. serve
