Babycorn Manchurian

Ingredients to make Babycorn Manchurian

  • Babycorn chopped 12
  • capsicum 1
  • onion medium sized 4
  • garlic cloves 7-8
  • green chillies 4
  • Soya Sauce 1 Tbsp
  • tomato sauce 1/2 tbsp
  • cornflour 2tbsp
  • red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilli sauce 1 tbsp
  • tomato sauce 1/2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
  • salt
  • oil for frying

How to make Babycorn Manchurian

  1. Marinate washed and chopped babycorn pieces with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt and cornflour for 10 minutes
  2. Deep fry the babycorn pieces in oil and keep aside.
  3. Take a kadai. Add oil. Fry onions, garlic, green chilli, all sauces, little salt and water. Let it boil for 2 minutes. Adjust the amount of sauces as per your taste.
  4. Now add fried babycorn pieces and capsicum sauteed in a different pan.
  5. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Saute capsicum in a different pan and add just before serving to preserve the crunch.
