ABOUT Lekváros Palacsinta - Hungarian Pancake RECIPE

Palacsinta is a thin crêpe variety which is common in Eastern Europe. Lekváros Palacsinta is a thin crêpe with Apricot jam filling and dusted with confectioner's sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All Purpose Flour - 2 Cups
  2. Eggs - 3
  3. Milk - 3 Cups
  4. Oil -2 tbsp
  5. Sugar - 2 tbsp
  6. Apricot Jam -For Filling
  7. Confectioner's Sugar - For Dusting
  8. Butter - For Frying
  9. Salt -a pinch

Instructions

  1. In a Bowl Mix Flour, milk, Salt, sugar, oil and eggs to make a smooth thin batter. Heat a non stick or crepe pan, brush with butter .
  2. Pour 1 ladle dough in the pan, swirl the pan in circular motion so the dough covers with whole pan.
  3. Cook it for 2 minutes and turn it around the other side and cook it for 2 minutes again.Once done take off the pancake on a plate. Continue until the batter is all cooked.
  4. Fill with Apricot jam and roll it. Finally dusted with confectioner's sugar.Serve it immediately.
