Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Yellow moong daal 1cup
  2. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  3. 1bay leaf
  4. Ginger paste1tbsp
  5. Tomatoes 1midium (chopped)
  6. Vegetables 1bowl chopped(cauliflower,peas,carrots,beans)
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Sugar 1pinch
  9. Turmeric powder 1tsp
  10. Cumin powder 1tsp
  11. Mustard oil 3-4tsp
  12. Water 1cup
  13. ghee
  14. Garam Masala powder

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook moong daal with 2whistle.keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, dry chillies,
  3. Add vegetables .
  4. Now add ginger paste and tomatoes.
  5. Add all the spices except garam masala.
  6. Add moong daal.
  7. Now add water, cover with a lid andlet it boil for sometimes.
  8. Once it's done, add garam masala and ghee.serve it with hot steamed rice.
