Rice Panki

Ingredients to make Rice Panki

  • Rice flour 5 tablespoon
  • Urad dal(split black lentil) flour 1 table spoon
  • dahi(curd) 1 teaspoons
  • Green chilli paste 1/2 teaspoon
  • Corasaly crash cumin 1/2 tea spoon
  • Oil 1 teaspoon + some oil for greasing
  • salt as par taste
  • water 3/4 cup
  • banana leaves 2 no
  • Green chatni for seving(optional)

How to make Rice Panki

  1. take a bowl and mix all ingredients except Banana Leaves. Mix well
  2. now cut banana leaves with help of pizza in small pieces.make sure all pieces are same in size.
  3. Grease banana leaves with the help of little oil and keep in a site
  4. Put 1 tbsp of the batter on each banana leaf piece and cover each piece with a greased banana leaf facing downwards.
  5. Press it gently to spread the batter evenly to make a thin layer
  6. Heat a non-stick tava and cook the panki on both sides till light brown spots appear on the banana leaves
  7. Make all panki like this
  8. Serve immediately with green chutney.
  9. Tasty ,healthy and very light Panki is ready to eat. Enjoy...
  10. (You can peels off the banana leaf easily and eat panki.)

My Tip:

You can eat panki with oil or garlic chatni also...i like to have with only oil...
