ABOUT Payash (kheer) RECIPE

Its a bengal traditional dessert prepared with rice, vermicelli & sewaiya with lots of dry fruits and milk.. its a most favorite dessert in each house.. but in this recipe i try some different way to cooked payash hope you all like my recipe :thumbsup:

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Milk 2 kg
  2. Rice powder (coarse) 200 gm
  3. Cardamom 5
  4. Dry fruits (cashews and almond) 2cup
  5. Pista few for garnish
  6. Sugar 650 gm

Instructions

  1. In a heavy bottom pot add milk and cardamom
  2. When its come to boil low the flame
  3. Now in a bowl make a paste of rice powder with water
  4. Now transfer this mixture into a milk and stir continuously
  5. When its become thick add dry fruits and stir
  6. Stir continuously now when its become more thick then add sugar and stir
  7. When sugar totally dissolve off the flame and serve
  8. Garnish with some pistachio and cashews serve chilled or hot
