Laccha Paratha is one of the most popular paratha in North India, and the reason in evident as soon as you set sight on it! This layered paratha is quite appetising to look at, and even more interesting to bite into, because the layers separated by ghee give a crumbly, melt-in-the-mouth texture.

Instructions

First of all take wheat flour in a bowl. Add sugar and salt in it. Mix it well
Now by adding water in small portion kneed a smooth dough. Divide the dough in small size balls.
Now grease rolling board with ghee and take ball size dough dust it with wheat flour. Roll it in thin round sheet.
Now spread some ghee over it. Also sprinkle some chaat masala red chilli powder and salt over it.
Now cut this sheet lengthwise with a knife as shown in picture.
Now with the help of knife start wrapping this sheet as shown in picture
Now roll it Like a flat round again.
Now again dust it with flour and roll it gently.
Now roast this paratha on heated pan by spreading some ghee over the paratha.
When it is roasted from both the sides take it in a plate.
Your laccha paratha is ready to serve. Enjoy it.
