ABOUT Makki Raab(Raabdi) RECIPE

Makki Daliya Raabdi is a typical and popular dish from Rajasthani's Mewar region.This staple meal,can be consumed both hot and cold and is very nutritious when consumed in Monsoons.It is a healthy and whole some meal with no artificial flavours or cooking agents.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Sour Buttermilk 500 ml
  2. Makka Flour 1 Cup
  3. Makka Daliya 1/2 Cup
  4. Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Red Chilli Powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Ghee 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Mix Buttermilk and Flour.
  2. Then continuously stir it on medium flame
  3. When it gets boiled,add the daliya.
  4. Cook it till daliya gets cooked and it get thick
  5. Then add salt and cumin powder.
  6. Cook it for 20-30 mins.
  7. Garnish it with red chilli powder.
  8. Tasty Raabdi is ready.
