This recipe is very easy to cooked.It is very simple. Soak Chana dal and cooked with rice, curd. Perfect for dinner.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice 1cup
  2. Chana dal 1/4cup
  3. Curd 1cup
  4. Mustard seed 1tsp
  5. Sugar 1/2tsp
  6. Cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  7. Chopped green chilli 1tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Water 2cup
  10. Oil 3tbsp
  11. Turmeric powder 1tsp
  12. Garnish for coriander leaves


  1. At first soak Chana dal for 1hours. Then wash it.
  2. Wash rice
  3. Take curd in a bowl whisk gently.. Then add 1/2cup of water in the bowl
  4. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  5. Then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Stir and saute.
  6. Then add Chana dal. Saute 1min then add rice. Fry 2min.
  7. Then add turmeric powder, green chilli.
  8. Add prepared curd, and sugar,salt. Stir 1min
  9. Then add water.
  10. Cooked 4to 5 wishled
  11. Then curd rice is ready for searve.
  12. Add some coriander leaves in the top of rice when plating.
