Vegetable Daliya

Ingredients to make Vegetable Daliya

  • 1 cup daliya
  • 1 medium size chopped onions
  • 1 medium size chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped capsicum
  • 1 cup chopped beans
  • 1/2 tsp zeera
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • Pinch of garam masala
  • coriander leaves
  • oil
  • water

How to make Vegetable Daliya

  1. Take a pressure cooker. Pour 1 tsp oil. Add cumin seeds. Let it crackle.
  2. Add onions as it turns pink add ttomatoes capsicum beans and Saute it.
  3. Then add all dry masalas, salt and saute it.
  4. Wash daliya 1-2 times from drinking water.
  5. Add into cooker pour double water and pressure cook for 5 minutes. (2-3 whistles depending on cooker)
  6. Turn off the has and Keep it in steam. Check the daliya and vegetables should be cook properly.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot with curd

My Tip:

You can add green chillies also it will enhance the taste as i used to make it for my kid so i avoid using.
