ABOUT Nacho's topped with Mexican Salsa and Cheese Sauce RECIPE

When friends are coming over at a short notice, what a better way to treat them than with Nachos and Salsa! This is a delicious Mexican recipe which is prepared using nachos, cheddar and mozzarella cheese along with tomato, onion, coriander leaves, and lime juice. This is an easy-to-make snack recipe, which you can try on occasions like kitty party and pot luck. Pair this Nachos and Salsa recipe with a refreshing mocktail or even a cocktail and enjoy with your loved ones.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 Packet of Tortilla's or Ready made Nacho Chips ( as required )
  2. 3 Ripe Tomatoes, finely chopped
  3. 1 Medium Onion, Finely Chopped
  4. 1 Jalapeno, deseeded and finely chopped
  5. Fresh Coriander finely chopped
  6. 1 lemon Juice
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. Olive oil
  9. Paprika Powder
  10. oregano
  11. 6 Cheese Slices, torn into pieces
  12. 1/2 cup Milk
  13. 2 Pinches of Mustard Powder

Instructions

  1. Making of Mexican Salsa : In a bowl add the tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, salt, pepper, lemon juice, coriander and oregano and mix well. Drizzle some olive oil and combine everything together and keep it aside.
  2. Making of Chip's : Take tortilla's as required and drizzle some olive oil and sprinkle some paprika powder on top of each tortilla.
  3. Cut the tortilla's into triangle shape and bake for about 3 -4 mins at 180* C till golden brown and then remove them and cool.
  4. Making of Cheese Sauce : Combine the cheese and milk in a broad non-stick pan and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  5. Switch off the flame, add the mustard powder and salt and mix well. Keep aside.
  6. Assembling Together : Arrange Tortilla chips on a plate. Spread ½ portion of the uncooked salsa and ½ the cheese sauce over it.
  7. Garnish with Coriander and some Oregano.
  8. Serve immediately.
