ABOUT Tomato perukku. RECIPE

A side dish that goes well with rice. No need of any cooking, just blending.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Tomato 1 big red, hopped
  2. Grated coconut 4 tbsp
  3. Small onion 10, chopped
  4. Red chillies 5, chopped
  5. Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  7. Curd 2 tbsp
  8. Salt
  9. Coconut oil 2 tsp
  10. Curry leaves a few

Instructions

  1. Coarsely grind, coconut, onion, chillies, mustard seeds, salt & curry leaves.
  2. Don't make a paste. Remove from jar
  3. Add chopped tomatoes .just blending for one or 2 sec.
  4. Add to the above mixture, along with curd. Mix well
  5. Put coconut oil. Mix well.
  6. Curry is ready.
