About Shatta (tomato sauce) Recipe

Satta this recipe made with tomatoes and green chilly.and also adding garlic cloves to flavour the sauce.This sauce is very famous in Arabian countries...and it served with their traditional rice Mandi and Kabsa..it also known as Shattha in Arabic.It will give rich taste to rice.

Shatta (tomato sauce)

Ingredients to make Shatta (tomato sauce)

  • 2 medium sized tomatoes
  • One green chilli
  • two garlic cloves
  • salt to taste
  • half teaspoon sugar
  • coriander leaves

How to make Shatta (tomato sauce)

  1. .cut the tomatoes and put into mixie jar .
  2. .add green chilli to it.
  3. then add garlic cloves
  4. then add salt according to taste
  5. then add sugar
  6. finally add chopped coriander to mixer jar
  7. now blend all ingredients well together
  8. serve with Arabian rice Mandi or Kabsa

My Tip:

You can also add little black pepper to it while grinding.
