Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Thin Poha 2 cups
  2. Pepper 1 tablespoon
  3. Jeera 1 tablespoon
  4. Ghee 2 tablespoons
  5. Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  6. urad dal 1 teaspoon
  7. Cashew 6
  8. Asefoetida powder 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Salt as required
  10. Curry leaves few


  1. Rinse poha once in water and drain the water. Set aside for ten minutes
  2. Coarsely grind pepper and jeera and keep aside.
  3. In a kadai add ghee and when hot add mustard seeds, when it splutters add urad dal, cashews, curry leaves and roast in low flame until it turns light brown . Then add pepper jeera powder , salt and asefoetida powder and saute for a minute
  4. Now add poha to it , give it a good mix and switch off the flame after few minutes
