Pepper jeera Rasam

Ingredients to make Pepper jeera Rasam

  • tamarind lemon size
  • tomato 3
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • pepper jeera powder 3 tsp
  • Crushed garlic 5-6
  • Green chilli 1
  • mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • urad dal 1/2 tsp
  • curry leaves 1 string
  • coriander leaves as required
  • salt as required
  • oil as required

How to make Pepper jeera Rasam

  1. Soak tamarind for 30 min.
  2. In bowl add tamarind water,tomato juice or chopped tomato,salt,coriander leaves
  3. In pan heat oil add mustard seeds,urad dal,Curry leaves,onion,green chilli, crushed garlic cook for 5 min.
  4. Add turmeric powder, pepper jeera powder.mix add tamarind tomato water.cook for 10-15 min.dont allow them to boil.
