ABOUT Mango Millet Pongal RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3/4 cup hulled millet
  2. 3/4 cup mung dal
  3. 1 cup freah mango pulp
  4. 2 tbsp honey
  5. 1/4 cardamom powder
  6. Chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Into the pressure cooker add the moong dal and dry roast for two minutes.
  2. Now add the millet, and roast for another one minute
  3. Add 4 cups of water
  4. Pressure cook for three whistles
  5. When the pressure falls open the cooker and stir the pongal well
  6. Add the mango pulp,, cardamom powder, chopped nuts and honey
  7. Now stir well and fragrant mango millet pongal is ready to serve
